VoIP NETWORK - PLANNED MAINTENANCE Saturday 16th Feb 2008

We will be carrying out essential maintenance work on Saturday 16th February 2008 between Midnight and 7am. This will involve repair work that will be carried out on some of our fiber optic connections. During this time you may experience some disruption to your service.

Our service provider Easynet experienced MAJOR OUTAGE at their Brick Lane site Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th - this affected ALL Intercell Services. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

mail.theitguys.co.uk is currently being upgraded to the latest version of Zimbra. One successful upgrade has already been completed. The upgrade is now being mirrored to other servers in the cluster, we expect this to be complete by 8pm Sunday evening.

Normal service resumed, Intercell engineers are checking the data centre.

Engineers are now moving the fiber's to a temporary mux with a new card to give access back to Internet lines as the manual reconfiguration of the new mux failed during re commissioning. Engineers expect to have temporary service back within 2-6 hours. The temporary service will be switched to full service during a normal maintenance window, normally between midnight and 6am - this is to be confirmed.

Engineers are re commissioning the entire mux and all cross connections manually, engineers have advised that this will continue overnight.
